About the e-book:
I wrote this e-book to teach you how to practice piano, and how to enjoy yourself while you’re at it! This started as something I could send to my (older) piano students, so that they could learn how to use their time more effectively and get the most out of their practice.
Since starting this PianoTV channel and blog, I decided to share this e-book with a wider audience beyond my own studio. It simply requires an e-mail address to get going.
In addition, I’ll send you occasional e-mails that either provide deeper insight into piano topics, or ask questions relevant to the channel, so I can make videos that you want to see.
E-book details:
This e-book includes:
• How to set realistic and achievable goals
• Tips for setting up your practice space
• Effective practice suggestions to avoid wasting time
• Memorizing and mastering pieces
• How to stay motivated
• Off-bench activities to improve your music skills
• Illustrated stretches for avoiding injury
Whether you’ve been playing piano for a while or are a complete beginner, my hope is that this book will give you valuable insight on how to practice piano, and will be something that you can refer back to on your piano journey.
Motivation to practice always waxes and wanes, so it’s crucial to develop great practice habits to withstand lower motivation periods. It’s also crucial to diagnose long-term low motivation, and dig into the root causes, and correct problems before they become too overwhelming.
Let me know if you’ve found this e-book helpful by sending me a message! You can do that by heading over to the contact section of this website, or replying to the e-mail I’ll send you with the e-book PDF.
I look forward to being in touch!
