Hey all,

This is a (terrifying) fun video idea I had – have you be a fly on the wall while I write a song, and explain some of my processes to you while I do.

As a vocalist and keyboardist, I mainly focus on melodies and lyrics, so that’s the subject of today’s video.

When I sat down to record, I had no idea how any of it was going to go! Which was (terrifying) a good life experience.

What I plan to do for a follow-up video is record the process of my band taking this song idea and transforming it into something decent. We’ll see how it goes!

We recorded it way back in 2012, before life hit and half of us moved, before all of us had babies. Now that we’re more or less in the same area again, I’m excited to start jamming new stuff (like this song)!
